INTRODUCTION
One cannot judge the rise or fall of the USNews top-ranked law school by its score since USNews implicitly defines the score of the top-ranked law school to be 100.
Over a given period of time, we can judge the rise or fall of the top-ranked law schools by the scores obtained by comparable law schools over the same time period.
For comparable law schools, we chose the law schools ranked 2 to 6 (2013 Ranking) and the law schools ranked 2 to 104 (2009 Ranking). For the time period, we choose 2009-2012. A year-by-year analysis (2009 to 2012) indicate that Yale's is declining with respect to both of these groups.
