SUMMARY:
In 2009, the USNews top 104 law schools (and no others) received a score. These 104 law schools (as did 41 others) also received a score in 2012. For each of these 104 law schools, taking the difference of their 2012 and 2009 scores gives us their 2009-2012 change in score (the last column).
Not all of these 104 law schools received a score in the two in-between years (2010 and 2011) but the 2012 top 83 law schools (2012 score of 46 or higher) all received a score for 2010 and 2011.
With a score of 100 every year, Yale experienced no score change in the time interval 2009-2012. The law schools with a positive change in score in the time interval 2009-2012 gained on Yale (97 of 103) whereas the law schools with a negative change in score in the time interval 2009-2012 lost ground to Yale (3 of 103). The law schools listed in the second following table are the 103 law schools that received a score in 2009 (Yale excluded). The ordering of these law school in the second table below is determined by their 2009-2012 Change (Last column).
The top 104 law schools all received a score for 2009 and 2012 but not necessarily for the two years in between (2010 and 2011); ths is the reason for the N/A (not Available) in the following table.
The 2012 top 83 law schools all received a score, not only in 2009 and 2012, but also in 2010 and 2011.
